I will continue the vacation story tomorrow because I found THIS in my driveway yesterday:
I am going to have to ask you to click on those pictures to really understand the magnitude of this creature.
I thought it was an alligator in our yard at first. An then decided it was a dragon. And then peeled myself from my car and followed it around the yard taking pictures of it. And then realizing that it was a monitor. BUT, I didn't know if they bit or lashed their giant scaly tails...so I watched it crawl into the next door neighbors palm.
I decided to post on Craigslist lost/found ads, as it is apparent that this is someone's pet. You may read that here.

WOW! I must say, usually I'm ok around iguanas/lizard type animals since we have a lot on the island, but that particular one gave the "hibbie-jibbies", I hope you'll find the owner, good luck!

Trooper - I am willing to bet I could have ridden that thing across the yard!
If you start getting fan mail because of the craiglist ad.....blame me. That was some of the funniest sh*t I've read in a long time! BRAVO!
